Thumbs up Salsette and M2 - 15th & 16th June 2005

Hi folks

I'm just putting out feelers at the moment but this could become a trip very quickly, I have a plan, but want to make sure there is enough interest before I launch it. I have a couple of people interested already and the basics are as follows:

Dive two days mid week, the 15th and 16th of June ( wed, thurs), neap tides, no hussle.

Two dives a day, M2 and AN Other day 1, Salsette and AN Other day 2.

Use a decent charter with lift, I am currently looking at these.

Book accom when numbers sorted, B&B will be the easy part mid week.

Both these dives are regarded as some of the best wreck dives in the UK and both sit at a respectable depth in general good vis (M2 around 30m, the Salsette around 44m) making them suitable for experienced sport divers, dive leaders or equivalent, please don't put your name down with a basic qualification. Sorry to preach, just trying to be realistic for everyones good.

Costs are likely to be around £40 a day for the boat, £25 a night for B&B and whatever you spend there and on travel.

Pop your name down if this appeals to you, if I get the numbers, I'll sort the trip.

James, please try to get Skindeep or similar boat with a compressor on board, makes it easier for those of us on OC.

Andy, you've probally had too much to drink , so l corrected your addition to my name.......................no need to thank me, that's what mates are for.

l'd add that changing, or adding to, peoples names is very childish Andy.
