Good news everyone

Just been on the phone with Porthkerris - Saturday morning, ready to go time is 11AM Haven't sorted exact sites yet - waiting on the weather forecast.

Sunday is 9AM.

Not long now - this time tomorrow we'll hopefully be halfway there...

Great news....no mad rush on Saturday morning to get to the boat. And I'll be able to have more than one pint on Friday night

Fingers crossed that we get some 'decent' weather...

See you all soon

Kathy

P.S I wonder if there will be another 'random' party in the three tuns???

Fingers crossed that you all have a great weekend. Hope it is another cracker. I look forward to hearing about it, and any reports of updates to the boat - after all, Celtic Pussy will be competing for attentions soon (Kathy & Gary - that is the new hardboat that Gary Fox is having built to operate out of the same area )

Enjoy........I am jealous.

Lou

edit: How the hell do you do it in 6 hours???? It is normally over 5 from here!

Its looking interesting on theyr.net at the minute, but the forecast has been changing every couple of hours for the last couple of days so I suspect its going to be a wait and see - Friday looks good though

We'll have to wait and see - at least it'll be entertainment. Mind you, the locals probably won't be too pleased to see some of us - we won the pub quiz last time rather convincingly, which was nice since the prize was free drinks

Thanks for that Lou, will let you know about it when we get back Not sure if any of the upgrades have been done yet, I know they said the lift would probably be over the winter. As you say, a bit of competition might move it along a bit faster.

Cheers,
Simon

Well hopefully everyone's made it home by now (except JasonP who disappeared off to Newquay for a couple of days surfing!)

Thanks to everyone for an excellent trip with 3 days of good diving. Quite a few people had sniffles or other problems and had missed dives, but we had some cracking dives and the sun even came out yesterday

I'm sure there'll be a trip report coming along soon, and I've got a few photos which I'll try and get up as soon as possible (probably tomorrow evening after my OU exam), but in the meantime I thought I'd post this pic of a mysterious cornish dive creature I was lucky to see in its natural habitat - the Porthkerris Push-me-Pull-U diver

This way, no that way, no this way ......
Sorry Kathy and Gary, but at least you remembered your fins - even if they do seem to have velcro on the bottom!

You lucky lot!
I was just down the coast in Cadgwith.
Kept my eyes open for you on the boat.
Unfortunately I was unable to meet up with you - SWMBO had to do the driving, following my cracking time in Egypt, and I was told in No Uncertain terms that she was not going to drive me over to St Keverne so I could drink too much beer and talk diving all night!
Bloody women - no sympathy for the sick...

We did keep an eye out for you - shame we couldn't meet up, but maybe next time - some of us have mentioned popping down in January if the weather holds out.
