Fin,
no problem - had a great one myself, nice to see everyone there enjoying the dives without any in-water incidents.

Suffice to say there's talk of Porthkerris 2006 (maybe more than one).

Thanks to everyone for an excellent trip with 3 days of good diving. Quite a few people had sniffles or other problems and had missed dives, but we had some cracking dives and the sun even came out yesterday

I'm sure there'll be a trip report coming along soon, and I've got a few photos which I'll try and get up as soon as possible (probably tomorrow evening after my OU exam), but in the meantime I thought I'd post this pic of a mysterious cornish dive creature I was lucky to see in its natural habitat - the Porthkerris Push-me-Pull-U diver

This way, no that way, no this way ......
Sorry Kathy and Gary, but at least you remembered your fins - even if they do seem to have velcro on the bottom!

Simon
Got home safely about 10.30pm last night so we made VERY good time considering the milage we had to do....

Lol Simon...I must admit the pic is very funny....couldn't have planned that manouvere (sp???!!!) if we had tried!!!!

Remembered the fins but almost forgot a weightbelt on one occasion...didn't we Gary???!!!!

Some cracking dives yet again...most memorable is the newly named 'Conger and John Dorey wreck' The Caroni River. Having never seen a John Dorey and only a couple of congers previously it was madness down there...you couldn't see the wreckage for them getting in the way!!! Can't wait to see the pic's on here Simon...

Once again an excellent trip for myself and Gary. Cracking diving, cracking company and lots of fun and beer enjoyed all round. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces and to make some more new friends....

Thanks to all for making it a memorable, safe and fun trip and loads of thanks to Simon for organising it for us again.

Definately up for a re-match in 2006!!

Cheers

Kathy

Note that we are keeping a close eye on each other, ah well at least we were in the same area of the sea, only a few metres apart and going in the opposite direction!!!

As for the weight belt, well at least I remembered before getting in the water!
Don't forget the instance of someone jumping in for kit and still wearing his weightbelt!!!!!!!!!!!

Simon, once again thanks for organising

As for the rest of you, it was great to meet you all and drink and be merry then have a few days of great diving.

Anyone up for another steak challenge next year?

Gary

Smile Thanks for all the congers

Simon

Thanks for organising the weekend I really enjoyed the diving, the added bonus was that you booked in on the same weekend as the Congor convention and the John Dory jolly.

Also glad to report I have even returned to normal colour now. Great first trip with YD, good to know you are all as daft as me.

Count me in for the trip next year if there is space and you can cope with the odd green spell.

Now if it had been the Caroni I could understand ... ooooh, I'm going to be remembering that dive for a long time. An hours divetime was nowhere near enough - Mike said we didn't move more than 5 metres from the shotline (funny how we still couldn't find it for the ascent)

How could we ever forget - I mean surely no-one would jump in 30m of water forgetting they had their weightbelt, drysuit and no other kit

Only if I can give the treacle tart & clotted cream a miss - it'll take 6 months for my arteries to soften up a bit

Cheers and look forward to seeing you @ the Dive Show - we've checked and I'm free that weekend...

Fe,
glad you enjoyed it - good thing you didn't let onto that you were a YD virgin

Thanks for keeping an eye on me when the missus got bored - conger photo's on the way soon.

As for green spells, you were just missing the company and sarnies on the boat
