| Porthkerris III - The Cat's Back OK, following on from our trip a couple of weekends ago where much fun was had by all, we'd been talking about heading on down later in the year. ![]() I've had a word with Porthkerris (website: www.porthkerris.com) and their hardboat the 'Celtic Cat' is available on the weekend of the 8th/9th of October. Boat costs are £40 per day including lunch. Diving is generally in the 20-35m range, although there are a couple of shallower dives if people want to do them - I can recommend the Rock Island Bridge as a nice little bimble! I'll probably be down and doing some shore diving on the 7th if anyone's interested in coming down a day early. If you're interested let me know - I'll need to get a 50% deposit to secure spaces, the rest will be payable 6 weeks beforehand. There's no onboard compressor so you'll either need twins or 2 cylinders - Porthkerris' prices are on their website. Boat Space: Saturday 8th October
If those down as possibles could let me know as soon as poss, I'd appreciate it. Anyone else interested, post away!!! BTW, threads on previous trips for info etc... Trip Reports from May 2005 - some pics! Trip Planning for May 2005 - accom, food info etc Trip Report from 2004 - piccies again Simon Last edited by sch : 03-06-05 at 10:05 PM. |
