| Well, the weather is officially shite. This is the coldingham (just south of abbs) webcam, and it looks rough as fook. This is the surf forecast too Its been windy overnight and is currently pissing with rain, if you are driving past Newcastle at any point between 3.30pm to 6pm its worth listening to Metro Radio (97.1) as they will tell you about any traffic jams which are pretty likley with the pants weather. These are the relevant bits of the forecast (with Abbs being really close to the join between the two sectors) Rattray Head to Berwick on Tweed. 24 hour forecast: Wind: northeast 4 or 5, occasionally 6 south of Montrose. Weather: rain. Visibility: good becoming moderate with coastal fog in south. Sea State: slight becoming moderate in south. Outlook for the following 24 hours: Wind: northeast 4 or 5 backing north 3. Weather: rain at times. Visibility: moderate with coastal fog becoming good. Sea State: slight, but moderate for a time in south. Berwick on Tweed to Whitby. 24 hour forecast: Wind: northeast 5 to 7. Weather: rain. Visibility: moderate or poor with coastal fog. Sea State: slight building moderate locally rough. Outlook for the following 24 hours: Wind: northeast 5 to 7 decreasing 3 or 4 then backing north. Weather: rain or showers. Visibility: moderate with coastal fog, becoming occasionally good. Sea State: moderate locally rough decaying slight.

| Any better for tomorrow? |

| From the look of it, once the wind swings northerly it will drop, but if it is enough for us to get in........ [edit] - text from the skipper - he says today is the worst, should be improving over the weekend ![]()
