St Abbs 10th/11th September, Off Topline

Hi all,

I'm trying to organise a St Abbs weekend for the CSAC lot, on the 10th/11th September, but I'm struggling for numbers - I could have either four or six spaces on Topline to fill.

If anyones' interested could you post below? If I can get at least four people we can go ahead with trip/dives. If not I'm going to have to pull the plug on it.

There are 3 dives planned off Topline, Sat PM, and Sun AM + PM, we are planning on doing Cathedral Rock Sat AM.

Theres a couple of Ocean Divers so there won't be anything a great deal over 20m.

The CSAC/Yorkshire Divers St Abbs Gig

Diving

Hardboat Diving with Topline Dive Boat out of St Abbs.

Two boat dives Saturday, but we can't get on boat till 3pm. Diving Weasel Loch, then at Abbs.
Two boat dives Sunday, Abbs.

This gives people the option of driving up on Saturday morning if they wish? If so you need to let me know - at moment everyone confirmed for accommodation is booked for Friday and Saturday Night!? We'll be out Friday night so there's enough reason to come along! Those waiting for confirmation of accommodation, I'll pm you in due course.

Saturday AM - I need to know what people would like to do? We could shore dive Cathedral Rock, go paint-balling (seriously!), nip to the Farnes and do a wildlife boat cruise? You could have a lie-in...? Let me know what you think...!?

Boat Cost £40 per person - £10 per dive, refreshments included.

Accommodation

I need to know who requires B&B accommodation for the trip, and what nights you want to stay over. If you are arranging your own accommodation then let me know.

The proposal is to travel up Friday afternoon/evening, and travel back Sunday night. If you want to travel up Saturday morning (forgoing the shore dive/activities if you wish?) then contact me and confirm you require accommodation for SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY. I will do my best to arrange accommodation - I can't guarantee you'll be in St Abbs itself, it's very busy up there in September.

This is not a club trip! I am organising the accommodation and boat but you take responsibility for your own diving. You must qualified with relevant experience and competent in the use of an delayed SMB. I would also suggest you carry a redundant air supply. By signing up for the trip you are/have accepted the above!
