Porg,

congrats on getting this tag-team event off the ground in such short order

One or two things so that it doesn't go to ratshit petal

You state that there is now the possibility of 24 places for the weekend?

Does Topline take 24 divers, or, more likely, 12 divers?

So are we saying that divers who've currently put their names down - and if you do reach 24 names - that they will only have one dive a day, given that the boat takes 12 divers? Or do you have two boats booked? You see where I'm going with this? If divers are travelling from all over the UK to attend the gig, they might be a tad miffed if they turn up and find that they are only getting one dive a day so that the other 12 can be accommodated on the second dive of the day - or is Topline prepared to go out 4 times a day to accommodate all 24 divers - if so, at what times, so folks know?

Also, would you please provide a couple of weblinks for Scoutscroft Campsite so folks can get an idea of the facilities and prices - not everyone lives in or near Alnwick Rather right than rushed, what?

And possibly a link to Topline so folks can have a look at her and see what she's got (lift, head etc.), cost for lunch onboard, or whether it's included or not? Air prices and costs for re-fills etc?

Cheers.

Hi Blondie,

St Abbs/Eyemouth is just over the border - think Coldstream and Berwick upon Tweed

Hahahahaha.

Toplines a great little boat. The head is just through the dining room (captain invitation only I'm afraid) and to the left of the complimentary bar.

Well, it is cheap stuff and it comes almost from the local gardening store, but it works fine and it's very solid. We tried to destroy one by hitting it with a hammer... we succeeded but we really had to hit it hard - http://www.stde.ch/en/faq.php

Link to Topline:

http://divestabbs.co.uk/ It's a roll off set up - then a climb up the ladder back up - but it's not hard, and Paul even takes your fins off for you before you get up the ladder.

Link to Scoutscroft Dive centre:

http://www.scoutscroft.co.uk/Scoutsc...te/diving.html

Fills (air) available at the harbour. Approx £2.50 per fill. Air is also available (24 hours a day) up at Scouts on a key system. Nitrox available at Scoutscroft dive centre, but this is obviously only whe the shop's open.

I imagine that the boat thing is going to work like Gary's put above - Topline take 12 people, but will go out 4 times in the day, taking 12 divers each time - so everyone will get 2 dives a day - or more if they want to shore as well. That should be some fun to co-ordinate......

Yep, people are right. We have the whole boat booked for the weekend, Paul does 4 trips a day so everyone will get two dives a day, plus shore if you want to.

Im at work at the mo, will fill in more details later.
