all I saw upstairs a few weeks back - was more shop!! So nothing much to excite anyone who's not a diver (and arguably not all that much to excite those who are!)

You could send them down to the Mill on the Sour, a family pub just outside the village. It's got a kid's adventure playground.

Out of the gate turn right, down to the roundabout and right again. It's at the other end of that road. 5 minute drive.

Dive plans

Apart from Phil diving in a shortie does anyone have any specific plans?

With some teamwork and a patient photographer could we all decend on the Stanegarth, at say 10 am, you know ALL of us, see how many people we can position on the boat, make for an interesting photo. Just an idea.

Two of us are really there to test out the scooters. We were planning on doing a long haul, perhaps a circumnavigation, to see what we can burn time them for. If the batteries go flat in the far corner we will have to fin back and will probably sulk for the rest of the day. In theory they should go round then some.

I am also training up my brain on the new YBOD electronics.

Darren and I were going to go over to the Cessna as a first dive about 9.30 I would imagine, I suppose we could do the Staney then head West for the plane, impressive eh! Not sure about the time though, we had planned on pitching up about 8 so I suppose after a bit of faffing etc it would be an OK sort of time for a first dive. If we did a first dive at 9 then the Staney as a second dive it probably wouldnt give us a big enough SI to get in again at 10. How about making it an hour later, not just for us but I suspect most people could do one dive, gas up if required, have an adequate SI then do as you suggest for a second dive at 11.
Just a thought.

Matt
