Three Wheatsheaves- on the main A52 road into Nottingham so really easy to find. Serves decent beer and there is a greasy take away within vomiting distance. Also used as a very regular haunt by Nottm Uni SAC. For people hotelling it the pub is also on the main westerly bus route into town so transport is a doddle- you can even go into Nottingham city centre afterwards for a carry on (although closing time is a foreign concept sometimes) as the buses run every 5 mins, even at night.
