Actually, Tim isn't going on this so I guess that means I'm on my own.

Does nobody else fancy it? It looks like it's going to be a really special trip.

Unhappy
Well, because of everyone dropping out the trip has now been cancelled altogether. That means I haven't got a single diving trip left all Summer until September - the whole lot cancelled for one reason or another. I'm far from happy.

Mark if it helps Kathy and Gary have received letters cancelling their trip. Sounds like they have all been cancelled.

Yes, it's the entire round Britain trip that has been canned. I was so looking forward to this one - especially as it had become my only trip left.

Mark - I thought that the "word on the street" was that they were cancelled because of issues with Zuza, not because folk had dropped out?

Yes, on the letter that arrived with the returned deposit it says that the cancellation of the whole season is as a result of insufficient bookings and 'other personal committments'...

The boat is still in Portugal, by all accounts - from what I have been told, by a valuable source, she took on water and had electric problems. The bilge pump on Zuza is electric, and they had no manual pump.

Well I had heard she had capsized in the Bay of Biscay so I e-mailed them about a month ago to see what the situation was. They replied to say there were no problems with the boat at all - and then a couple of weeks later the trip is cancelled.
