Let us know what the viz is like. I believe Steve is doing the Duke on Saturday.

Might see some of you as I will be playing with compressors and oxygen in the marina on Friday.

Good point. I'll pack up my dive gear for foreseeable future and stick to the sailing.

Just so you know, had a call from Clare, a diver was airlifted from the boat suffering DCI on this trip.

It was NOT a YD'er.

She asked me to post in case it ends up on here from another source and people thought it was one of our guys.

Thats all i know.

To add a bit. He was fine at the time of the air lift, it was a precaution.

CCR diver of 20+ years experiance lost his weights on the wreck (I think) reeled up from the wreck. Made all stops to 9m then couldent hold on and shot to the surface from 9m missing 20mins of stops.

Physicly he was standing and walking but he was air lifted off because he was too lazey to carry his kit off... sorry no As a precaution

Shit happens and he did what he thaught best under the circumstances.

I found the reel and errrrrr lost the reel... more in my trip report later

ATB

Am I right in thinking he up blobed tied off to the wreck and then used it as a shot and went up the line? If he did thats the kind of thinking that makes some people survive and others become a statistic.

Or did he maintain his bouyancy all the way up using the reel? if so I am still impressed..
