Thumbs up Xmas & New year Swanage bash???

Hi all,

After some discussions on the boards last night it appears that Killer prawn will be runningthrough the winter (weather & divers permitting).

So how about a YD bash to work of some Xmas Pud or see in the New year??

I'm suggesting a Boxing day or New years day dive or two off the prawn. Maybe we could add a few quid to the dive cost and make it a Charity do..I believe Andy is running similar from Dover on Taurus (bit too far for me)..So who's up for it?

If there is any interest I'll sort it with Mike and take deposits etc. Tide times etc still need to be sorted. We could consider a small soiree afterwards & include families

Boxing day Low water slack is at Midday so probable ropes off at 1100 am!!

2. Roobydoo

New Years Day Great tides good Neap & HW slack at 11.15, ropes off around 10.30

If New Years day is a goer I could even be persuaded to hold a post dive Bar-B-Que at mine

interested, but what are the tides doing?

for me, time for dive is important - it's one thing not drinking on xmas day, it's another getting up at 4.30am to be at swanage peer for ropes off at 7am?

I'm interested, but it depends what I'm doing for Christmas and New Year.

Something around 27th /28th of December is likely to be better for me, but definitely don't alter any plans on my account (not that you were planning to I'm sure )

see first post - tide times etc added.

On a serious note, I realise that it's easy for me family wise as I have only a few miles to travel. If it's easier, I'd be happy to do something between Xmas & New Year.

What do you think?

Go on then - we're game for Boxing Day if the Skipper is..

And the tide times mean it is doable.......
