OK, Latest scores-on-the-doors:

As you can see above, we have various, if scattered availability for the weekend out of Seahouses.

I've spoken to Dave Ward and have said that I will confirm with him later today, one way or the other, whether we will take the 4/5 places on offer on his boat for Sunday.

Davey Williamson has scored availability too for both days. That said, he is awaiting a call back from another skipper in the hope that we can get a full boat for YD Troop for the Sunday, so Gav, if you're still up for it, we can dive our own script if the news coming back is positive.

Current YD numbers (assuming Gav's back on) is 7 divers. This means we need another THREE (Pref FIVE) to make this a goer.

Davey Willo will not have a ya or nay on the YD boat until the skipper - who is currently out on the oggin - gets back later today, so if I can please ask you guys and gals to throw your names in the ring to try and get us a minimum TEN divers, it would help.

Please be advised that we need your intention to dive Sunday, given that the news Davey gets back will hopefully be that we have got a full boat to oursleves. If not, then we will have to go with the spaces currently available to us.

We have 7, we need more, but we may have to come back to some of you and say thanks, but we could not get the boat. Just letting everyone know up front so no one sets out to dive and is then disappointed.

Cheers in advance and let's hope we can pull this off!!!!

Let's be having you!

<font color='#736AFF'>Well, hubby needn't think he's going back to the Farnes without me (I really enjoyed the other week) - so, if Gav's going, count me in too &nbsp;

OK, YD Team Sheet for this gig - assuming Davey can snag the boat - is as follows:

1. * Bren
2. * Jay
3. * Davey Willo
4. * Marco
5. * Wetlettuce
6. * Jules C
7. * Gavster
8. * Fi
9. * Brett (Diver's Whorehouse)

So need a minimum one more, pref 3 - any more for any more??

Ok people here's the latest..

After biting my nails all day long and pestering folk no end I've been told that the hardboat is a no go... gutted!

Although to tell the truth it would of been a bloody miracle at this short notice to find an empty 12 seater hardboat sitting at Seahouses waiting to be filled by divers but I was thrown a sniff of one and it would of been remiss of me not to chase it up.

So.... I'm afraid it's back to grabbing what seats are available where ever and with whomever you can if you are wanting to dive this weekend. I'm really sorry that the twelve seater didn't appear and it was all for nought... or was it...

The good news is that is that during my chasing about today I've ended up talking to a guy called Duncan, a Farnes diver and fisherman of 18 years who's got his own small boat that is licenced for six divers...

This guy is just starting out in business and although he's fully booked this weekend I can book every available Saturday from now till the end of the season and beyond... There is a God and I also spoke to him about our many YD shift workers who might be wanting his services midweek and he was well keen on that news.

The boat will cost £150 a day for two dives (He'll drop a bit midweek) which equates to £25 per diver per day, easy in easy out and a nice boat according to Duncan.

So, do I nail down some dates? Will there be enough interest to fill six places every Saturday?? I'm thinking there will be but don't want to start something I can't finish so feedback would be nice.

Hoping to read some responses soon
Best Regards
Dave.
