As per usual, I'll be down on the Thursday so up for some divings on Friday if anyone else will be along - either shore or rib.

Still planning on camping - the weather forecast looks reasonable at the min, if possibly a bit wet on the Sunday.

Simon
Sorry to hear about Andrea, hope all is well

Lisa and I will be arriving earlyish on Friday and are camping.. Hoping to get a couple of shore dives in on the Friday or maybe a shore dive and then possibly Rib if that becomes an option.

Do you know what sort of times will be best to go in for a shore dive? I can see us getting beached again !!!

Question

Have just been looking at the map. Is it best to use the ferry across the river bit or does it work out quicker to go around using the main roads?

We just use the main roads - down to Helston, then St. Keverne.

Andrea is having some fun with sciatica - although it hasn't stopped her snowboarding (well not until this week anyway)..

As for times, realistically I've never had a problem at any state of the tide for the reef - can be a bit easier at high tide as you have less distance to walk

What you planning on Diving on the Sunday? I might grab that last space on Sunday - just to hold Mark's (Okeanos) hand to make sure he doesn't take too many photos!

No plans so far for any of the dives - tbh, we generally just turn up and see what looks good on the day but if anyone has any requests then let me know. Generally we try to keep to 30m max unless everyone wants a bit deeper.

Sites we've dived before and I enjoyed include Caroni River, Carmarthen, Citrine, any of the Manacles ...

OK, cheers for letting me know.

I'll get back to you nearer the time if the space is still available.

I'm not too keen on Caroni River or Volnay as I've done them loads beforehand, but might grab the space if you are doing anything else.

Cheers,

-NEIL
