| Porthkerris IV OK, OK so I like Porthkerris (http://www.porthkerris.com I'm looking at sorting a couple of trips to Porthkerris next year - one earlier in the year and one in August. For the earlier one I'm looking at May on either the 6th/7th or 13th/14th. My preference would be for the latter weekend but I'm open to persuasion As always, diving would be from the Celtic Cat ![]() on the Saturday and Sunday. Speaking with Porthkerris, they're planning on having a proper kitting up bench in place by then, and hopefully a lift as well - although neither of these are guaranteed at this stage. Costs will be £40 per day for the diving which includes 2 dives and lunch on board - please note these are the current prices (checked on 19/10/05 and they're planning on these being the 2006 prices) but as we're all aware with current fuel prices its possible that Porthkerris might have to come up with a surcharge. There is plenty of accommodation available, from camping through to B&B & Guest Houses - this can be arranged through Porthkerris themselves or I know there have been a few recommendations for alternatives on previous threads. We don't really plan these as deep techy weekends - most of the diving is in the 20-30m range, although we did hit 33m on one of the dives on the last trip. Porthkerris have air and nitrox available on site upto 300 BAR (and always seem to do good fills). Please bear in mind that there's no onboard compressor so you'll either need twins or 2 cylinders. As always, we'll probably be down on the Friday for some shore diving (depending on date) - if anyone wanted to do some boat dives on the Friday, Porthkerris will run their RIB with a minimum of 4 people. If you're interested let me know along with which date would interest you most - I'll need to get a 50% deposit to secure spaces, the rest will be payable 6 weeks beforehand. Saturday 1. Simon 2. | BTW, as for alternative dates - it looks like June is fully booked, but there are a couple of weekends available in July as well - July 1st/2nd or 15th/16th.

| Is this the return of the baskers trip? Will speak to Lisa tonight and see what the plan is. I think it may be time to get out the marquee again!!! I would prefer the later one as I think the YD Goes Dutch Three Sister tour is on the 6th & 7th. Mark
