Cool Clyde 29th - 1st May 2006

Righto, we have the Clutha booked again for next year on a bank holiday weekend so three days diving 29th April - 1st May. She has room for 12 divers and has a compressor aboard. As to whether i will be diving with you, the jury is still out and will be for another 5 months or so!

She operates out of Inverkip Marina near Largs, is an excellent boat to dive from and her skipper, Elaine, is one of the best i have ever used.

The diving in the Clyde is all deeper, darker and not for novice divers. Depths are all 25m - 45m, and vis can be very variable (we had from abour 2m to 5m). The plus side is the wrecks are pretty intact!

Accoms are available in Roberta's B&B which we used last time and was excellent.

Costs are still to be confirmed with Elaine, so rough numbers just yet.

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!

Certainly be interested in finding out more. I probably wouldnt need Accomodation though as I could stay with the Monster in Law in Greenock.

I've only dived the Clyde once and vis was 'less than ideal'

Probably do accom so I can have drunken debauched decadence without far to stumble but if someone else needs the space then I can crash at my parents in Glasgow.
