Thumbs up

For those lucky people who have secured their place on the Arisaig trip.

A Taste of things to come!!!!!
unashamedly pinched off one of the other forums,

Just had a weekend of THE most spectacular viz imaginable... Drove up to our rented house at the Arisaighouse estate then met the Brendan on Saturday morning.Rough seas forced us to dive in Loch Nan Uamh where we dived a site that last year we christened "Anemone Wall"...the viz was astonishing,at 25m you could clearly see the waves washing onto the surface rocks...the wall was densely covered in jewel anemones in all colours, huge dahlias, sagartia anemones etc etc.Big canyons cutting into the wall packed with anemones. And numerous male Cuckoo Wrasse. Dive 2 was at Rafters Reef for scallops and crabs, looking down from the surface we could clearly see our other divers over 15m below! Sunday and in flat calm seas and bright sun we steamed over to Muck to dive a stunning vertical wall at Windmill Point. Viz was patchy here but the wall was stunning, smothered in an iridescent carpet of jewel anemones in blue, green, red, yellow and purple.Masses of other anemones and seafans, numerous Ballan and Cuckoo Wrasse. Last dive was a huge surprise, Rubha Na Crannaig on the Isle of Eigg, a flat sand and kelp plain at 12m with shoaling fish, then a stunning vertical drop of basalt columns smothered in jewel anemones falling to boulders teeming with wrasse at 35m. And the viz.....lying on my back at 35m I could clearly see 2 divers at 15m at the top of the wall with the sun and surface ripples above....unbelievable, and one pair reported being able to see the surface from 40m!!! I don't expect to see viz like that again for a while!!
