Thanks for getting the information.

A couple of thoughts ...

What kind of diving experience is required before hand, for example I've not done a chamber dive or been below 34 meters, is this going be a problem?

My other thought is that I'm terrible at commiting to things a long way off and May / June seems like a lifetime away.

What are other peeps thoughts?

Lots of inexperienced people do chamber dives every year

I wouldnt worry, you're talking a max of 20m (the sleat is moored about that deep) and you're tethered to the dive platform the whole time. Even chasey couldnt cock it up <grins>

jen - diving in commie gear is damn easy. I loved it when diving in it at for william for the week. No experience necessary as some of the people on the course didnt even dive!

1 hr 20 mins normal time or 6 hrs 86 mins in chasey ratio time to fill the boat, with a mixture of well 'ard (well one ) rebreather divers, rebreather kn*bs, oc divers, even two of "them" sneaked on board. This is YD at its best. Even though Paul organised it.

Definitely. You even have somebody to put it on you.

The only snag was one day when my coms guy was German with an umbilical handler from Glasgow. All the coms procedures were spot on but nothing ever happened right. They just didn't communicate. Thankfully in 12m of water, well cup-a-soup - darn airlifts, you can get by...

Count me in. This has to be tried (along with the ole Sieb Gorman brass hat jobby which i will also try sometime)

Just let me know what dates and when you want money etc....

BTW Anyone else see that hugely entertaining bit on the Professional Diving Academy DVD (a freebie at the dive show) where they stuck a dead conger in the cage and left it for one of the trainees to find...
