A Very,very,very Polite Request

Lots of divers on saturday that were booked to go diving , ended up puddle splashing due to boats being blown out......

However, Taurus was booked and went out Saturday.

Some of the group, didn't get on the wreck, due to the viz wasn't up for them to enjoy, BUT , Deck Bitch almost had the postman there if he stayed any longer playing with his new AGA...

ANYWAY.........

I was up at 05:00, kettle was on and as i sat on the BOG, my mobile rang twice...... First call ( 05:10 ) was left to the voice mail, where no message was left and it was a with held number, as i couldn't answer it ,,, this call woke up the house.....

Then at 05:25, i ran down the stairs and just got the call,,,,,,

" hello, is that Andy from Taurus Diving ? "
" Yes. "
" Oh good, are you going out diving today ? "
" Yes . ( thinking this was one of the divers from the group ) ".

" Great, have you 2 spaces for me and my mate, we got blown out last night by the skipper, and as we are up, thought we would ring round early for spaces available, we can be in Dover for 09:00 "

" Nope, sorry mate , fully booked ,,,,, you should have rang me as soon as you were blown out last night "........

How many other divers ring round this early ......

I don't mind as i was up, just in a awkward position to get to the phone ....

Can i just say..... If you want to ring me early......... TEXT ME FIRST with a NUMBER and i'll ring ya back....

Wife don't like having kids up that early on a weekend day

You don’t need to be good at swimming to save lives.

OBVIOUSLY YOUR STUPIDITY IS ONLY MATCHED BY YOUR INCOMPETENCE.

I work on the basis that if my mobile is switched on and not in silent mode then I'm fair game !

I'm gonna regret this !!!!

Andy,

You are so much nicer than me, at 5.00 am, they would have had a visit from Mr Big and his partner Mr Bat.

Take care mate,

Andrew

Get a second mobile just to deal with your bookings - then you can leave a voice mail message on it saying no space or take the call if you want to.

Cheers, A
