| Ahhh. Okay. Maybe scratch KLM then. We were just trying to find European operators who flew direct and KLM and Iberia were the two that showed up straight away.

| Preferably Iberia, then. I must admit that the several-hour difference in travel time is a very attractive thought. Maybe we could get a luggage concession with them.

| Iberia fly directly to Quito then onto Guayaquil. They are not my favourite airline and Madrid airport is currently a chaotic rubbish tip but by 2007 the new terminalks will have been made (hopefully). I'm going on Iberia to Tenerife in December and will try out any dive concessions. Generally on intercontinental flights the weight allowance is generous, or at least use to be.
