Nooooooooooo! Not KLM!! Haven't you read my posts on Divernet describing what they did to us on the return flight from Bonaire?
1. We were bumped off the flight and had to fly a roundabout route to Amsterdam via Curacao and Aruba.
2. Our extra luggage concession from Bonaire to Amsterdam was not honoured by KLM's Aruba station manager and everybody was charged excess.
3. Dinner wasn't fit to give my dog. Most of the "meat" was gristle.
Wherever possible, I'll avoid KLM like the plague from now on.

Ahhh. Okay. Maybe scratch KLM then. We were just trying to find European operators who flew direct and KLM and Iberia were the two that showed up straight away.

Preferably Iberia, then. I must admit that the several-hour difference in travel time is a very attractive thought. Maybe we could get a luggage concession with them.

Iberia fly directly to Quito then onto Guayaquil.

They are not my favourite airline and Madrid airport is currently a chaotic rubbish tip but by 2007 the new terminalks will have been made (hopefully).

I'm going on Iberia to Tenerife in December and will try out any dive concessions. Generally on intercontinental flights the weight allowance is generous, or at least use to be.

Aren't the flights included in this, I seem to recall American Airlines being mentioned.
