Could you take me off the subs bench now please? It's been a couple of months and no one has dropped out, if I want to go on a trip like this I have to make arrangements well in advance, so I'll have to be a certainty rather than a stand in.

We will don't worry, but I am sure we are going to be doing all our booking with MST.

I have to say the forum conversations I have been having with guys in the states give me the impression that we will have no problem with 2 pieces of not more than 23kg each. Which will be fine for me. And of all then trip reports I have been reading to Galapagos nobody seems to have any problems with baggage to the islands.

Really good to see you all last night.... Was a really good night, Jules is a star for offering out her home for us to invade and be Geeks watching fish DVDs.....

Thanks for a fun night, good to meet some new faces as well as some familiar ones...

Took us a bit longer than we planned to get back to Scotland, got caught up in a bit of a snow flurry on the M74... But got back safe and sound... not sure I'm going to make it to work tomorrow though!!!

Managed to win Fiona's Map, Lou decided to return for her camera and book.

Lovely to meet the people I didn't know Lisa and John, and of course darling little heather. That child is just sooooooo cute!

So what did we decide? we are all still going ... we are definitely going by plane and some of us will be staying longer and doing something else. Oh well still time to work out the detail. On the trecking to machu pichu theme though I purchased a new pair of walking boots today and have decided to train a bit this summer and decide if I actually like walking!

Hah! We will turn you to the idea Anyway you don't have to actually like walking - just like the idea of saying you could do it So, what boots did you get, and did Matt actually get any (since I am sure that is what you were going for!)?

Heather was very, very sweet indeed - how someone so small could put up with all that condensed fish geekiness for so long withut a whimper is beyond me.
