Snorkel with Whales - Iceland Exped.

THE CHANCE TO SNORKEL WITH BIG WHALES!

ICELAND EXPEDITION 28TH -31ST JULY

The final prices have been negotiated and are as follows:

The plan is to get a total of 12 divers. There are 2 confirmed definites already who have signed up and commited the money!
So that leaves a maximum of 10 places for this exped.

The departure date is Friday 28th July 2006.

Flights can be booked independantly or via the cheapest option I have found which is www.icelandexpress.com

(Between £50 and £80 each way)

Arrive Rejkjavik Friday 28th
Collected and transported to B&B accomodation.
3 nights B&B accomodation in Reykjavik about 10-15 mins walk from harbour.

Saturday 29th July collected from accomodation > harbour

Full day out on 44ft long boat Gestur out to whale grounds to search for whales Minke Humpback etc.. see the operator who has agreed to work with us:
http://www.whalewatching.is/

Snorkel with whales once located. Zodiac will also be used.

Return to harbour transfer to accomodation.

Sunday 30th July collected from accomodation > harbour

Full day out on 44ft long boat Gestur out to whale grounds to search for whales Minke / Humpback etc.. Snorkel with whales once located. Zodiac will also be used.

Return to harbour transfer to accomodation.

Monday 31st July transfer to airport > Home.

The price is inclusive of weights IF you would like them... bring your own weight belt..

Divers wishing to hire drysuits can do so for an additional £27 per day diving. (i.e total £54).

The cost is simply split between 12 people.

£320pp based on 2 sharing (add £60 if you need a single room) + flights (includes accomodation 3 nights B&B, boat & crew for 2 days to whale grounds off shore, weights & transfers)

Flights are likely to total £120 pp.

This will give a total cost of about £440 per person.

If people just wish to book a place on the boat and transfers they can and the cost will be £190 per person.

You would then have to arrange your own accomodation / flights.

Weights are £9 per day per person.

I am open to suggestions by those wishing to partake is this adventure.
All costs are transparent. There's no profit in it for me!!! Just a straight split between those going.

DRYSUITS ONLY. COMPETENT SNORKELLERS ONLY.

Names to me asap to confirm interest and secure provisional place.

Ben.

Arrow Snorkel with Whales off Iceland

To clarify Do NOT book flights unless you have been confirmed with a place on the trip.

If people wish to they only need to commit to paying their share of the boat costs.
£150 TOTAL per diver for BOTH days.
They can then arrange their own transport / flights & accomodation independantly if they would rather do this.

Weights & drysuit hire can then be arranged prior to the trip if you wish.
