Portsmouth submarine trip 25th March 2005

I have just been on the phone with Steve at Wightdiver, and providing we have six divers then another sub day is sorted.

As per Lou's post
There are three subs diveable in the area – U90, U1195 and UB81, all in approx 30-35m and all fairly intact. The plan will be, weather permitting, to dive one of these subs and then maybe the NAB tower or one of the Solent forts on the return trip.

The trip will cost £40 per person and for us to get this day and itinerary I need 6 names. I will not take the money for this – it will need to be paid to The Dive Connection (acting for Wightdiver), in full, to secure your place and our trip. If you wait until we have 6 and I give the word to pay, just in case we don’t get the numbers to dictate the schedule.

Once we do, phone 02392 698 700 with your card at the ready….

The plan
Boat leaves at 9.15am
Sub dive 30-35m
Nab tower 20m diveable at any tide state

I have paid my fee-just in case

So Reserve a space on the thread and confirm it when paid

Its a week later than the other trip and near as dammit on neaps, so if the
weather is good i'd head for the U90. Still a bit early in the season though,
so make sure you have a VERY big torch :-)
