Due to the distance being travelled by the boat (Marsa to Sharm return) and my history of boat travel (seasickness), I'm going to pull out of this trip. I really hope this trip goes ahead but I'll keep an eye on the thread and if the itinery/travel arrangements change, I reserve the right to change my mind

Jim if we are doing the north why don't we get a boat out of sharm has to be cheaper and less time to the sites, I relay want to do this trip but I also have to pay for a family Holiday as well. I guess its a new boat

I agree with Lou, I can't see that a trip would include Elphinstone and the Brothers along with a Northern wreck tour, there isn't enough time.

Hope you get the boat though it looks fabulous and as Lou said Ali Baba has been talking about it for a couple of years, glad it is finally in the water.

When i did this trip 2 year ago, we did it all except from Elphinstone, but this time we are leaving from Marsa Allam, so that's how we can do Elphinstone, on the first day it's schedueled to do Elphinstone, in the morning and then be in hurghada for a night dive

Ok Jim I am going to come clean, Lou mentioned this trip to me the other day so I did some investigation. I emailed Redsea divers and this is their reply.

The trip onboard the Royal Evolution has been priced up for the group as being a northern wrecks itinerary.

It will not be going to any of the Marine Park islands nor Elphinstone down south.

The reason for the Marsa Alam arrival / departure airport was to keep the price down as the flights are cheaper and also as the boat is doing a southern itinerary the week after your trip it would have to be in Marsa Alam.

Sorry for the confusion but Mr J Shaw the group leader had asked us for a northern wrecks itinerary.

I am not interferring but people might book on the strength of doing the Brothers
