Question Friday too?

IF the boat is available, would anyone else be interested in diving Friday as well as Sat/Sun?

Just gauging level of interest at the moment, so can talk to Paul and/or skipper about possibility...

With a boat as fast as Pete's I'd get out to the Eddystone. If he whinges, point out that his boat is called "Eddystone Charters" so he really does not have a leg to stand on.

If you want a really really good wreck, rather than the Persier (mind you I've not done it so what do I know) have a look at the Maine. one of my favourite dives. In fact I did 2 dives in a day last year that I'd rate in my top 5- Maine and Eddystone.

The Furious is a fast boat so looking at stuff further afield is not a bad idea.
Personally I'd look at:

Eddystone - Scylla (or JEL)
Maine - Hilsea Point (or Persier)
If you are up for a Fri dive then do the one you missed out on the JEL/Scylla option. Personally I like the Scylla as it's the diver's equivalent of swings and slides and roundabouts but the JEL is a cracking pokey lifey camera dive.

or you could completely ignore me and tell me to eff off. Which would be perfectly understandable too.

Just a shame that you've booked a fast, stable boat then are off to do a RIB- type dive.

It's like buying twin 12's and a couple of AL80 stages then doing a 6m dive in Stoney "for fun" (you would never see that now, would you)

Well the diving was based on club requests, the type of boat is based on me freezing on a Rhib there last march and the accom on offer.

Maine sounds very good though and i'm doing her in June

Well I will mostly be in Swanage that weekend on a club trip. But I could be tempted by a cheeky day of diving on the Friday though. Although this will probably require some sort of negotiation at home.
