We dive there with our club just about every weekend on the RIBs. Pretty much any marina in the haven itself is a longish trip by hard boat to get to the islands (Skomer/Skokholm) where most people diver. (The Lucy wreck is there etc). If the weather is nice you can turn left at the haven instead and drift Castlemartin range and Crow Rock. Right next to the haven exist you have the Highland Holm and a WW2 landing craft wrecks in roughly 30-35m). Superb weather then go to the smalls etc.

You've got plenty of options of where to dive but most operators do tend to launch from Neyland marina or do pickups from Dale (In the haven but further west). Bateman i think occasionally picks up from Martins Haven but getting kit to/from the actual pier there is often a nightmare.

The vis looks reasonable on your West Wales photos, just goes to show luck of the draw.

mayday bank holiday

Hi, how many people are serious about this trip? Dive in 2 Pembrokeshire still have a boat available may day bank holiday weekend, £36 per day per person if we can fill a boat for 10 (quoted rate is £40 per person with organiser free but I wouldn't be looking to take the free space), there is also a suggestion on their website that accomodation is available from £25 per head but I haven't queried further into this.

My buddy and I would only be looking to dive the sat and sun, ie the 30th and 31st April, the skipper has said he would let me book this, although he would obviously prefer to get a booking for all three days of the bank holiday, so it would probably be open (indeed welcome) for the other 8 people if I fillll the boat to charter the monday as well if they wanted to, though I wouldn't be organising this and you'd have to discuss the costs with the skipper yourself.

Am open to suggestions on sites, would be a 40m max, but with a preference for keeping below 30m on the first day as my buddy hasn't done a sea dive since August! Would like to do the Lucy on the Sunday.

Anyone genuinely interested in those dates? Sorry to take the thread over, but I am looking to get something properly set up for that weekend, will also post as a seperate thread to ensure it gets noticed!
