| Eater Diving from Eastbourne To all at YD: Its got to that time of the year to decide what we should do for the Easter bank holiday which is quite late this year. As usual with Easter the tides give us a series of High Water slacks. As these are 'OUR W individuals days the price is the usual £38 per person with a £18 deposit to secure each space Our outline plan is: Friday 14th April: The Liner Alaunia 30-35m max and as the biggest wreck in the area there's plenty to explore. The 2nd dive will be either the Gun Wreck (30m) or a fast (2 knot) drift depending on the conditions Start time 9:45am with the 1st dive at 12noon and the 2nd around 3pm Saturday 15th April: We're going to go for a shallower day, the ideal opportunity for those who want to build up experience, either diving in general or with new kit like CCRs The Liner Oceana 25m again another large wreck and we can see if its another good scallop year in this area. The 2nd dive will be either the Broderick (25m) or a drift depending on the condition and what you want to do Start time 10:15am with the 1st dive at 12:40pm and the 2nd around 3:30pm Sunday 16th April: We're going to try a wreck I've not done for years, the 7 Seas in approximately 45m though the top of the wreck should be at least 5m proud. If the group want a 2nd dive we can do a drift over the Horse of Willingdon Start time 10:15am with the slack at 1:10pm Monday Back to an old Favourite, the Caleb Sprague, the depth will be 40-50m on this upright ship and an ideal opportunity to see how much further she's collapsed and opened up. As this is Easter Monday we'll make it a 1 dive day so you can get back home at a reasonable time Start time 11:15 with slack at 1:45pm So please e-mail or call Dave and Sylv on 07764 585353 to book your spaces. |
