Iestyn - I've got a 15l and a dumpy 12l you could borrow assuming there's enough room on the boat for me to bring 2 twinsets (12l x 2 + 7l x 2)

Maybe possible.

Hi folks

Fills may be possible!!
Done it before between dives when based near Dale.

I guess that will pick up in either Neyland or Dale.

From the dive sites Dale is best for shelter between dives etc.
If their is a car at Dale, West Wales Divers is only 5 minutes drive.

If Dale is an option I can give WestWales Divers a call and make sure they have a full bank or the people stopping could sort.

Regards Gary

Fills Update

Hi folks

Spoken to the boat skipper.

They are based at Milford Marina, which is about 2/3 way down the haven from St Anns Head.
Given the tides and draft of their boat they wont be able to get into Dale pontoon for fills.

He did say however that it may be possible to arrange some spare cylinders if needed.

Regards Gary

Red face Chainsaw?!

Hiya Roy

No chainsaw (HSE won't let me play unless I'm on surface supply) hence the need for twinsets - sawing by hand uses up loads of air! At least that's my excuse for being a total gas guzzler!

Actual times & places ?.

Hi folks

Away as from Thursday until a few days before the trip.
Actually down Pembrokshire so will be watching weather with interest.
Have to drive back up for a few days work then stright back down

Anyway as I am away until almost the dive dates, do we have any confirmed details for pickup point, ropes off times, air fills etc.

Regards Gary

Hi have spoken to the skipper today, rope off will be at 10am, unless we get a really nice day in which case we may wish to go to the smalls, but this will only be an option when weather is known. For now plan is 10am both days.

Brian can get cylinders as there will be no chance for a fill between dives. Can anyone who needs an extra cylinder let me know so we can make sure there are enough.

Finally, Brian said he'd had a very confusing call from someone called Andy who he thought said he was with YD and was taking the last two spaces. Brian is therefore now confused as to whether there are 10 or 12 of us. I must admit, so am I.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter, as there are two spaces and its just more cash for the skipper if there are two more, but could you please at least make yourself known to the forum so we know to expect you!

Look forward to meeting you all.
