There's a camping site next to West Wales Divers where Ian + 2 are staying. See http://www.redlandstouring.co.uk/ I might stay there myself. Garygee said he was camping -don't know where.

Hi folks

Just got back from Pembrokshire.

Weather has been good, not too much wind and forcast looks good for wind so may have some half decent vis.

As for camp sites, were stopping on Penally Court farm just outside Tenby.
Not local about 40 minutes to milford but were almost locals their and as have family with me need to think of them as well.
All kids friends on the site etc.

If people are stopping at various sites how about, a beach BBQ, say Saturday night, weather permitting somwhere central, may St Brides- Broardhaven, Little Haven or Dale spring to mind. Whos interested ?.
Can finalise during the dive day when we know what weather is/

Also daft question but I assume its Milford Maria where its ropes off ?.

Looking forward to the trip

See you all on Saturday.

Regards Gary

Dakotian

Has anyone dived this recently?
My log book from a couple of years ago mentions it being a silty wreck with not much life.

Not fussed either way for a barbie, but won't be able to bring food or drink along. Plus after day on the boat I may be a tad tired-getting old or something . Plus was not planning on drinking and driving.

There is an interesting wall dive near the Lucy-I think down to 40m, I have been to 30m-old log book again . Could we split the divers into lucy or non-Lucy, just an idea.

That'll probably be the Garland Stone, on the north west side of Skomer. Dived it on Sunday - we went to ~25m but the best stuff seemed to be above that. Its the best reef I've dived in West Wales, with much more life than any of the others. Saw lobsters, nudibranchs, wrasse, loads of dead mens fingers, anemones etc.

And I remember the Dakotian to be the same as you do! But it was a couple of years ago that I dived it aswell.
