Speaking of buddies, I need a buddy. I'll be on the 'breather or twindependents + stage (depends how the hours on the breather are going) so you wont have to wory about my horendous gas consumption. but I'd rather not do much deco.

No worries Bro,

I'll try, although the stress of putting my tent up might just drive me to drink.

You might have to worry about mine though!!
I'll be looking to use twindy 12's, no stage, 32% back gas so not much deco either. Btm time of about 25mins sound OK? I'll run a proper plan before i/we dive though. I always plan on double ascent gas when using twindies.

Matt

Matt,
I'll need to run the numbers to confirm it, but I seem to remember from last time something in the region of 30-35 min on 32% gave me approx 10 min deco.
Beeing on a constant PPO2 My deco plan will be shorter than yours, but I'm quite happy to hang arround whilst you deco.

Stevie no mates

Hi All,

following on from the 'unknown buddies' thread I am sans buddy for this gig, so if anyone is prepared to buddy a guy who has a gammy leg, no pancreas, doesn't know which way is up for cylinders and will be doing loads of extra deco' [V-planner +5 conservatism] especially on the U90 but has survived over 615 logged dives then please let me know

Safe diving,
Steve

P.S. no pressure as I'll dive solo and lurk around others if I get no offers

Does that include last years U90 dive

Steve, it isn't my trip but as there are only 12 of us I am sure buddying someone won't be a problem, I said I would buddy Jules but you are more than welcome to join us in a little 3 some if you don't get a buddy of your own.

I'm also buddyless at the moment for this trip.

Anyone else diving a 12+pony rig, max 5 mins deco?

If not I'm quite happy to drop in with a pair of you ruffty tuffty twinset deco types and make my own way up early...

Cheers,
Dave.

PS for those I've not met I'm PADI AI with 360 odd dives, about 50% UK, and will be dived up in this range (yes, I did just read Glocs thread about divers with no buddy booking onto trips...)

Given that I'm only doing U-90 on the monday and you other guys are doing all the days scrub what I just wrote.

Simon A and I will buddy up as arranged, just that I will be going up before him

Matt

Hi Dave,

If you get no offers from anyone else, I'll buddy you as I won't be doing huge bottom times just hanging around padding stops out [can't miss the Scapa trip again ] so you could leave me at 6m if you get bored

Safe diving,
Steve
