| Hi all, I've got a spot on the trip to the Ariel this Monday. Can anyone shed any light on this wreck? The nearest Ariel a quick n lazy Google threw up was a destroyer which rammed and sunk a U-Boat in WW1. Also, if anyone has a general description of the wreck, that would be smashing. Thanks all. Much appreciated. |

| Well according to Dive Sussex its a Steamer that sunk following a collision in fog on 10 June 1892 with the Lancashire. her cargo was wheat from Varna (Black Sea) going to Hamburg. Sits in 28m with the bow broken off and a bit deeper HTH
