Me and the Guildford BSAC girlies were there today. Spent ages making my little badge with my name and a clown fishey on but didn't see anyone from YD We tried both bars, then back to the first, then.....well the beer woz nice. Still it stopped us shopping too much. But then my gear stick went all wobbly on the way home. Cable snapped or something. Good job I only spent money on beer then.

Maybe see you next year?!?

Hey Georgina,

Sorry the troop missed you this year, however that doesn't mean that you have to wait a calendar year to hook up with us! Pick a dive site, organise a dive and invite us along! Failing that, get you and your Guildford Massif on one of the planned gigs you see posted on here!

See ya soon,

Well we bumped into Kirky and friends around the show - good work on the polo shirts. I think the 2 bars played hell with us wandering back and forwards till we got fed up. Expensive beer too, but no surprise there.

Have fun today.

Adrian

Yeah didn't know there were two bars at the show confusing !!ended up sussing out the one opposite the Divers Warehouse stand. A few of us did manage to link up after spotting the YD logos. Ran into Paul C on my way out.

RB'd by Bren! Couldn't believe it!!!! LOL! To be fair, he had the decency to phone me up to explain, which means it wasn't a true "RB"-ing! Sorry to have missed you Bren and I think a Plymouth gig in '04 sounds great. By the way, did we mention the beer's cheap down here???

Did Stoney for the first time with Doug and the others. Hmmmmmm. I'm an OW man myself, but it was cool not having to rinse all my gear off afterwards. Still, I think Doug had a good idea when he said we should ALL do it before the Dive Show - what about making Stoney a pre-Show YD gig??!!! You're all going to be in the area anyway! Be fun to catch up and take the mick out of each other's kit

Got a McMahon reel at the show. Slagged off my DS makers for putting the valve in the wrong place. (They gave me a hat to make up for it - strange, but true.). Dribbled over Tanya (ginger or not) and helped myself to the free Guiness. Not a YDer did I spot!

Hope you all had a good show!

Unfortunately I failed to make the bar at the appointed time, due to the time it took me to escape the crowds at the O'Three stand, and as such failed to meet any YD'ers.
However I am now the proud possesor of a receipt for 2 MTM drysuits! (we should get the drysuits at the end of Feb!)
Sorry I missed everyone

We met up with the YD Core drinkers on Sunday. I could not see any logos so I texted Bren and he phoned straight back. I was talking to him scanning the bar when my girlfriend pointed him out. I got him to turn round. Bren Left mate, left, left left left... I waved he smiled, we were standing four feet apart!
