Swanage 8th April

Hi All,

Am booked aboard Mary Jo to dive the Kyarra (30) on Saturday 8th April along with 1 other (Cathy) on board "Mary Jo" out of Swanage, I will be diving twin twelves (on air for 1st dive, then nitrox 2nd). Just a quick note to see if anyone else is interested. Ropes off at 07:20 and 13:40 from the pier.

Regards

StevieH

You realise that I am sacrificing a cooked breakfast with your beloved to go and do this dive. I also have to explain to my better half that yet again I am staying away from home with Cathy for company on much of the trip.

So its Stevie me and anyone else for an early dip on the Kyarra, or diving with babes at 9.20 am. Its tough but someone has to do it.

Red face

Fraid we scrubbed with Mary Jo on Sunday (and ended up in Portland as usual...), so no Viz report...

...would of course love to join you...but my parents are visiting...(and disrupting my dive schedule!)...

I'm supposed to be doing the Betsy Anna on Friday evening with Bournemouth Barracudas (not far from the Kyarra). Will try and put a viz report for the benefit of all if we make it.

Hi, my buddy & I are booked on the 13:40 Kyarra trip on the 8th. We'll be doing some diving under the pier earlier in the day as have heard this is pretty good.

Not sure I'll be down there early enough to get a car parking space right on the front, are the other car parks fairly close by ?

Look forward to seeing some of you down there and to hearing what the Viz was on the 7am dive !

The other car park is a 100m away but DO BRING A TROLLEY if you have one, you will thank me for this, and offer me beer, and name your next child in my name. Store trolley inside cabin area, it does fold flat (yes?) if not check with M&P, usually plenty of space unless I have arrived first

Pier diving is 4-7m deep, wildlife is variable, but a really really nice bimble, watch out for the anglers hooks.
