| [quote=Paul Oliver] Option 1. Head out via the Andaman and have a look at the water around her, if it look naff, which there is a good chance it will, carry on out to the WW1 Torpedo Boat Destroyer HMS Flirt, which is in about 38m of water and has some very good viz out there. The down side of this is that most of us will not have the best gas for this dive I would prefer this one if possible, as i have just come back from an excerlant weekend diving at Weymouth, divied the Sky yesterday and Salsette to day got to 40m no problem but found my self getting a bit narked as i will not be on HAPPY GAS like some of you will be. So i would prefure this one, but if you all feel that you want to go for the other one i will leave it and go anther time when you do the Anderman

| Happy to go with the flow but a deeper wreck would mean getting another mix. The Flirt's O.K. but nothing to set your hair alight if you've got any. How about the Cuvier? 42 max on LW

| Is that the same area? far enough out for quality viz? Edit: Dave is happy to do the Cuvier, looks like a good option, can we have some more details? all i have is SS Cuvier Sank 9 Mar 1900 - full of pirate treasure?

| I'm not fussed, although I tend toward John Perrin's view. Andy M. |

| OK then i think we can rule out the deeper wreck, so it looks like the Flirt or Cuvier if the Andaman has no viz. We still have a fair few more to contribute yet and i have sent out text and e-mails to most, so hopefully a bit more feed back soon. Dave is monitoring the viz anyway, and Andaman gas would work ok ish on the Cuvier option. I know some of the others were looking at some depth options so i need to wait for them.

Someone with some sense I agree with Jerry, the Cuvier is far better than the flirt .

| OK then a bit more on HMS Flirt:- 27 October 1916 HMS Flirt, British, 30-knotter class Destroyer, Flirt was on patrol when she was torpedoed by a German destroyer North East of Dover. ![]()
