I am sure Maltese Falcon ( MF diver ) and myself would be interested in a day out - same-day traveling distance from Bolton if possible.

You boys will insist on going plenty in the far flung. Any chance of any dives around the NW/Wales side of the gaff??

Come on!! You know you want it - don't make me beg!!

Either way, safe guys.

Far flung Bren?

Only down the road for me!!!

I think the best thing to do is get and idea of the weather and then take it from there. No point saying Abbs it is if it looks like it's gonna be lumpy.

All venues considered.

There's four Edinburg divers that wanna do Abbs on Saturday. Me, Mrs Gavster, Graeme and Karen ... who else is up for it.

Dave Willo - any chanve you can give me details for Billy's boat, phone etc, also anybody heard anything about the weather for Saturday? ... I'll even get to the car-park early ....

If Abbs is blown looking for other options

The drysuit!! she back!!

I'm picking her up tomorrow night, so I'm ready for the weekend, although I've been looking at the BBC Weather website and the outlook for Berwick on Tweed both Saturday and Sunday is strong Northerly's... not good, not good at all.... So it might be inland yet, dunno... thoughts anyone?

Dave,

Met office saying northerly but maybe only 2-3. I don't think we'll know until late today/tomorra for deffo. Is there anyone in Abbs that could give us a likely steer.

Other options are west coast (loch long, fyne) prob too far for you or hole in ground - capernshite)

Gavster prays for change of weather !!!

Yeah Gav, I can ring 'Scoutscroft Dive Centre' the owners Peter and Amanda always give great viz/condition reports as divers are usually landing there for fills or they are actually taking divers in themselves so the info is usually first class. I'll call them tomorrow afternoon and let you know.

PaulC are you up for a trip if I swing past yours, we can share ex's... that's expenses not old girlfriends.. altho....
