Time to dive.

Simon, does that mean you want to come along and dive solo.

We don't have a problem with solo divers in our group, but, I think its a bit much for a "stranger" to turn up on his own and jump in - or am I alone in that view. What do others think?

I'm not saying that I am but... Strange squared away solo diver or strange numpty buddy pair, what are your thoughts?

To be perfectly honest - The comment relating to "Buddy Pairs Only", was meant to indicate that "lone" divers turning up would not be paired with somebody on the boat. The thought of solo divers never even crossed my mind. In terms of numpty solo diver or numpty buddy pairs, if I had to make a choice, I, of course would prefer neither.

If you are a "square" strange sort of guy, turning up on a boat with all the gear, answering the Dive Marshalls questions positively, and sitting quietly on the boat and wanting to Dive Solo, I don't think we would have problem, but it would be good to try and get you out of your shell.

There is still time ropes off at North Shields 10:30am. So, Simon crack on !

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!
