    Exclamation "Wrecking the North Isles" YD trip 5 - 10th August 2007

    This is the Information thread for the invitational trip
    Wrecking the North Isles
    August 5th - 10th 2007


    Basic trip ittinary

    Saturday 4th August - 1pm onwards arrive, board, settle in.
    Sunday 5th August - 1 dive Scapa - head north 1 dive North Isles (site dependant on weather and group preference)
    Monday - thursday Diving in the Orkney North Isles (sites dependant on weather and preferance)
    Friday - 1 dive North Isles Head back to Scapa final dive in Scapa
    Saturday - 10am depart

    diving range 12 - 60m, some tidal some non-tidal, depths to suit divers.

    Team list

    1 - Paul (Duck)
    2 - John (Touhig)
    3 - Lisa (R)
    4 - Jane (Triplefin)
    5 - David (freeflow)
    6 - Diggs (tbc)
    7 - Simon (tbc)
    8 - Kirstie (tbc)
    9 - Paul (tbc)
    10 - Sixsquid (tbc)


    sub - Sue

    Other parts of this trip include visits to most of the North Isles pubs (compulsary)
    A minibus tour of Westray (optional)
    Seafishing afternoon/evening(optional)
    Birdwatching evening(optional)
    Whisky tasting evening (compulsary)

    dive site list will follow shortly

    Will we 'put in' at night?

    I'm more than happy with the complusory activities Bird watching and fishing aren't my thing so I'll compensate with more whisky drinking
