May Day '07 Weekend - Portland/Weymouth Gig

Just testing the water here, but I am considering putting together a weekend down in the area, doing something similar to how the Swanage Gig was organised by Prometheus last August.
I am planning on using the shuttle boats, through divedorset.com so we can each book ourselves on the dives we plan to do.

I am aiming this weekend at diving in the approx 20 metres range, with perhaps one dive to a max of 30, as I fancy aiming to dive something like the Aeolian Sky. This will mean that the trip would be open to all divers, doing 2 shuttle dives a day so each days diving would be about 30 pounds. This would mean 3 days diving, and either B&B or camping, depending on costs, availability and what people want to do.

As I say, at the moment I am just seeing what interest there is, so let me know if you are interested.

So thats May 5/6/7.

Edited: To correct web adress after Chas49 so kindly pointed it out

Second Edit: To include itinery...

OK, this is the final schedule:

Saturday:

10:45 ropes off, Black Hawk (Lulworth) on Goose 16m £25
16:00 ropes off, dredger wreck on Top Gun 8-10m £15

Sunday
11:15 ropes off, White Nothe Landing Craft on Top Gun 22m £22
16:30 ropes off, Unknown Coaster wreck on Top Gun 16m £15

Monday

12:15 ropes off, Aeolian Sky on Top Gun 30m £25

I have only booked one boat dive on the Monday as we will not be back from that before 3pm/3.30pm and people will be wanting to start heading home, there are dives leaving up to about 5pm if someone wants to create one on the booking sheet.
The total cost for the five dives is £102

Most dives have 10 places left on them, after I have booked 2 places for myself and Spacehopper, but they will move quickly, being as it is a bank holiday weekend, so you will need to book quickly.

To book: Create yourself an account on the divedorset.com web page, and book yourself onto the dives. Or ring the phone number on the website. I spoke to Linda who moved a couple of the dives around for me in order to get one that I wanted on the Saturday.

Any problems, PM me, or ring me if you have my number.

AND ACT FAST

Yeah , I'd be up for that Derek , I'm on duty for the 5th 6th so would have to see if there is any leave available before giving you a definite answer.

Gary (Warmwaterdiver) has already got Smudge booked for that weekend and we are diving with him on the Monday.

Team Foxturd would be game on for a set of dives in the 30m range on the Saturday and Sunday.

Regards

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.
