I may be in a spot of bother for Friday as I have remembered its my wedding anniversary

I checked the get back time and i reckon on not getting home much before 7pm so I may be screwed. I have let Colin know and now i am just agonizing over whether its wise to ask permission to dive or just let Colin have the slot and pretend I had remembered all along and book a table for two fast

Why cant women be more like men? If she had forgot and booked a girls night out i'd be fine with that

I was not intending to dive Flirt or UC46 as they are 40m dives.

As i have said the Cuvier is a big liner that the decks and holds are in the 32-35m range, Dave has dropped the shot on this many times and it is generally dived on 32% by the locals.

Neptune anchors into the wrecks and has crew to ensure the shot is in, they are very good at this, so good infact that if Dave misses the wreck and you don't dive on a wreck you don't pay for that dive. We also have a jump line option if its an issue.

When we leave Dover we will be travelling over murkey water till we get to the lanes when it will clear up (hopefully) as we progress accross the channel we can monitor the water state, if we start heading inshore and the water starts to get murkey we have options, these now appear to be Dive the Hermes no matter the viz.

If people are only on 32 or 30% we have the option to go back out to mid channel and dive the Cuvier.

My concern was for any planning on 34-36% for the Hermes dive, that is why i posted in the first place.

Probably half the dives i planned last year we ended up doing different wrecks because of a variety of issues, many of these were outstanding dives achieved by balancing options, knowledge and experience to come up with an alternative plan on the day.

As it stands we have very strong SW winds (Which are Very Good for Dover Viz) forcast all week and we are coming off some very good Neap tides with a very good wind forcast for Friday so it looks like it will not be an issue, but hey who knows with the Sea.

Have you got time to damp that down a bit before Friday Rob? 32% would be a better mix.
