Thumbs up 10th Feb (info also from 3rd Feb) Farnes
"Good on ya" to those who dived at the Farnes on Saturday 3rd.

The sun was shining & the wind was light!

We did the 18th centuary wreck site and I think nearly everyone saw at least one canon!

The seals were plentiful but again the viz was far from ideal at about 3m max.

Graham (Gram43) I need to lend you some gloves as my hands were toasty!
(I have a pair of dry gloves you can borrow if you want!) - I'll stick with my Poseidon mitts!

I may not be able to dive this Saturday 10th but if I can I'll be there!

William the skipper may well have a few divers out anyway so if you're interested then give him a bell on 01665 721297 to book a place.

A big thanks to Ben for acting as a guide yesterday. Sadly we only saw the one cannon - we can however give accurate gps co-ordinates for every (and I mean every) piece of kelp in the farnes.

May take you up on the offer Ben as I am now considering some dry gloves. I never usually suffer with cold fingers and hands, but as my suit cuffs were new towards the end of last year, they didn't help with the old blood circulation, as they were tight!!

I used my Poseidon 5mm gloves as well.

Next time we meet up try the Northern Divers dry gloves that I have if you'd like. (I got them when I cut my finger badly and it couldn't get wet!)

The Poseidon 5mm gloves I use in the summer and in the winter I swear by the Poseidon 5mm 3 finger mitts.
