weather

southerly wind veering round to west sometime sunday so should be good for top side of angley place. sir tel reckons sunday will be worst day. didn't look/ask about rain cos i don't get any wetter in pub or under surface. put your dry suit on in the skippers bit. air temp is unseasonally high too. when you off across?

They've thrown a bit of North into wind direction for Sunday- see how that goes. Still spot on for tomorrow (if the b*stards are right )

Nice to meet you , Spongebob, we'll try to get offshore for some vis in the morn.... I know 8.30 ropes off is a bit uncivilised, but we're at the mercy of the tide-gods.
Did you manage to source the wine gums/midget gems?
Remember, there are times when you need to apply restrictions to your "bottom-time"
Will we be the top of the list, am?... Hmmm

disco fever

can't believe you went on the net after being so late in the office! thanks for introducing us to the local attractions! the nose warmer seemed very popular i must say.

good day was had by all, shame about the porthole we had to leave behind though. knowing our luck it will now fall off and be collected by some lucky soul.

Must mention the disco. the dinorben arms hotel has a disco on a friday and saturday night till 2am, followed by shouting etc after. this is VERY noisy, and wasn't mentioned to any of us when booking. a complaint on the night meant we didn't get breakfast either. there are plenty of other places to stay and my advise would be to use them.

thanks again Terry and Elfyn for their usual excellent service.

mike

well i was a good call to send ya all home sat afternoon bob ,today was horrible and would of been blown out.
give me a 2-3m 30m winter wreck dive anyday ,good to see some divers still out there willing to have a go in the winter months.
Big thumbs up to terry for skippering all day due to a bad back which mean't more diving for me .
highlight of the day ,the attempt to open a highly complicated new box of Tate sugar ,bypassing the "handy re -sealable flip lid" by ripping the complete head off it ,priceless.
lording it diving mean't galley bitch duties, over an hour cooking an endless stream of bacon, egg.,sausage baps for what seemed like a deck full of starved sea gulls.
After the days diving the scores on the doors were:

Seabed
Gained one mask
hung onto its portholes

divers
snatched one decent lobster
one intact saucer

Don't mention the gold.....................

elfyn

plenty more of them to be had mike ,i'll try hammering a bit harder next time.
As for the B&B ,the late licence coupled with poor service has obviously made this place unsuitable so we have taken it off our list and will not be using it in the future.
Like your meg , think you made the right choice.
ya must hold me hand and give us a go on it some time
see ya soon
