Just spoke to William and he has been looking at the same forecast and the opinion is wait till friday to decide. But it looks a bit dodgy so far!!

Peter has plenty of availability on Saturday and Sunday and his times usually run 0900, 1100, 1300 and 1500.

I never knew that!!

I must really mess him about asking for 10.00!!!!!

Looking at various forecasts (& the best combination available seems to be the BBC 5 day forecast for Seahouses BBC - Weather Centre - 5 Day Forecast in Celsius for Seahouses, United Kingdomcombined with an excellent met office forecast for Boulmer >>Met Office: Boulmer: Forecast)

My "gut" feel is much the same as last weekend.
Those hoping for Sunday are likely to get blown out and the best chance of diving will be Saturday - I'm not saying this just becasue I prefer Saturday diving!!(as I could do the Sunday!)

At the moment the wind is forecast to pick up over Friday night and to be blowing 29knt W by Saturday morning (Sunday is forecast 35knt SW!).
29knt W is diveable in the lee of the islands but can make pick-up to get back on the boat difficult, especially if there is any swell running. (you don't want a dive lift platform on your head!)

Unless people are very familiar with diving in these sorts of conditions I think William would be likely to scrub it if the wind stays above 20- 25knts max, but he will obviously have the last say on the Friday.

As you all know the forecast for the NE coast has been extremely irratic over the winter indeed I would not be at all surprised for the wind forecast to drop or increase by as much as 12knts (!) in the next 48hrs! So keep your eyes on the forecasts above!

Check with William Friday (01665 721297) but if you are keen to get wet I'd put my money on the Saturday at present.

Now if we were diving today it would be a very different situation - Its a FANTASTIC DAY! Pity we have to work!!

Hopefully we can sort something.

Already forecast look slightly better - 18knt W for Saturday (still over 20knt for the Sun!)

Sadly I've picked up an ear infection so diving may be touch and go at present -
