Don't panic!
I'm trying to work out a compromise- there are at least 8 after a Midday start- so I'm trying to work out a plan for the early-birds, whereby the offshore dive will be their second dive, whist avoiding too much of a reverse-profile- it should be possible.

ATB,

Terry

Red face

Hi Guys

I would prefer something later than a 7.30 to 8,30 start. There are six of us coming over from the wigan/manchester area and it's a 4.30am alarm call if we have to collect each other and get there for this time, not what we had in mind for a Sunday morning, if it were a weekend trip and we were all staying over it would be no problem, but it's too much for a day dash.

Please keep us posted.

James

I spoke to Terry this morning and he's got a cunning plan.

For those that want an early start you can go out at 10am and be back about 5. The boat will come back in to pick up those that prefer a lunch time start (12.30?) and those divers will finish around 7pm, after dropping off the early crew around 5.

I think that's about it, but Terry should be able to confirm.

My number if anyone wants it: 07796 441717 as I might not be online after tonight.

Thumbs up

we can keep everyone happy early or late so don't panic ,just need a forecast a bit nearer the time to decide were we are going.
will come in to pick up the late crew,in again drop off early crew after 2nd dive, out again late start 2nd dive sorted.
means early start late finish for us ,but it keeps us out of the pub which is a good thing!

Hi everyone ,we are going to cancel this trip because the forecast for the sunday is southwest 20mph.
This means that we cannot get to the offfshore wrecks and decent viz and with inshore viz being nil and unlikely to recover in time we feel that there is just no point.
will post a rematch if you guys are intrested

Thanks Elfyn

I can't say it's good news, but I apprieciate you not just taking us out for a crap dive, there is more to being a skipper than stearing a boat.

Aye, looks like we made the right call... checked out Holyhead today and vis is grim as a grim thing there too. The wind is freshening as promised...
Wednesdays offshore trip looks hopeful on the forecast .

Terry

Thanks for that Terry,

I am taking the path of The Goat (Lee) and getting drunk.

Hopefully you can fit us in when the weather gods approve!
