Dover Dive 25 April - Liberty Ship Henry B Plant

I have Neptune booked out of Dover on Wed 25 April to dive the intact Liberty Ship the Henry B Plant in a max depth of 41m with the top at 32-35m followed after a suitable surface interval by a shallower wreck in a max of about 32m.

Dive 1 - Meet at 0750 to depart at 0820, for the long run up to this wreck (about 24 miles) we should be back in Dover Marina after the dive for about 1230 to get a quick lunch.

The American steamship Henry B. Plant was torpedoed and sunk by
a German submarine on February 6th, 1945, 17 miles W. of
Ramsgate on a voyage from New York and Liverpool to Antwerp.
Twelve of her crew were lost.
This is a quite fantastic dive, if you imagine this Liberty Ship on its starboard side, hold covers gone, but guns, masts and all the other parts intact you will not go far wrong.

If you need fills between dives i can try and arrange something with Chris at the Shornecliffe Dive Centre which is about 10 min from the Marina.

Dive 2 - Will be about a 1510 meet to go and dive a more local wreck at about 1610 slack, the wreck for dive 2 will be decided on the day subject to sussing the viz line out on the way out to dive 1.

Cost of this top quality 2 wreck dive day will be £40, this includes a slight extra cost for fuel due to the long run up to this fantastic wreck. These will both be return to shot dives.
