Dover Sub Diving - Tuesday 10 Apr

I have Neptune booked to dive a couple of Dover Subs on Tuesday 10 April and have 2 places left to fill. We will be diving with Innes McCartney and will be looking at 2 inshore subs he has an interest in. The first will be the early model British Sub HMS B2 which sank following a collision on 4 Oct 1912, and sits in a max depth of 30m.



I suspect this sub will soon become a protected wreck site.

The meeting for this dive is a rather miserable 0545 for a 0615 departure.

Dive 2 will be on an unidentified early model German sub again in a max depth of 30m with a meet time of 1230.

This is a 2 wreck dive day and costs £35 however beware that they are both small targets and inshore so we may well have some rather poor viz.

You need to be suitably qualified and experienced to do these dives.

OK then the weather looks damn good and we are good to go on this dive day, the targets will have to change though as we have no inshore viz and we will have to decide on which ones in the morning.

Due to the anticipated gas fills and lack of dived up status of some going we are looking at the shallowest ones we can that will have some viz.
