hi people has anyone been to farnes this weekend just gone? and can you tell me what viz was like i`m going sunday so any info would be good cheers....

Well I recon it was about 3mtrs on the somalia.4mtrs on N.Knifestone reef.

I thought about 2m but then I'm very conservative (amongst other things).

heard about farnes not dived it ......cos i only passed ow last weekend but its a dive on my wish list but thinking can a newbie handle it. or should i stick to capers for a bit to build up confidence and skills?

stick to crappers for now and when you get a bit more experance you should be ok.
diving in the sea is nothing like abroad a bit scary a first but if your a confident diver you would be okay and join a club a get some dive time in.
but it is good can`t wait i`m like a dog with 2 dicks at the moment.
