Falmouth Trip

Hi Guy & Gals, Our club are going to Falmouth at the end of the month, Has anybody got any information on any good camp sites that are DIVER friendly & RIB friendly ??? Also any good tips on good Launching places and good dive sites ??? Cheers guy's.

Campsites - Menallack Farm Caravan & Camping Site (01326 340333), Tregedna Farm (01326 250529)
or Pennance Mill farm (01326 317431) are the closest. You should be ok with taking a RIB there - best to check beforehand though.

You can launch from Falmouth Watersports, I think it's about a tenner, or Mylor which is free.

There are alot of sites around, depends on what you are after really.

Can't really add much more than that, there is a park and float next to Falmouth marina, behind McDonalds

Although not Falmouth, Porthkerris on the Lizard has a tractor for launching and recovery from their beach, price £10, includes trailer park. They also have camping, air and a great shore dive. as per NeilP, he recommended Pennance Mill to me a couple of years ago, been there 4 or 5 times now, well recommended

one thing I do like is they lock the main gate overnight to improve security

facilities are very nice

they do have ribs on the campsite but best to double check
