Recommendations for Red Sea on CCR?

Hi all,
I'm hoping to do a Red Sea trip with my Inspiration next Spring/Summer. I prefer wrecks to looking at fish etc.
Any recommendations for boats, locations, best time to go? I'd like to be able to dive in a 3mm suit that I have as a pose to a dry suit, so not too early in the year.
Thanks for your help.

Eoin,
have you looked at Emperor Divers Tekstreme web site?
They may have something - I can't post a link 'cos the company blocks it

Smile hmmmmmmm

I would highly recommend looking at Tony Backhurst Scuba travel. They have a few Wreck oriented liveaboard trips. I have been on one and plan to go back in November.

For 3mm you should look at summer dates.

BTW did you mean "as opposed" rather than "as a pose" , sorry , I'm a bit pedantic (occasionally) :-)

You might consider Diving Center Safaga Egypt Dive Red Sea

They are a German outfit, but have English Guides etc. A friend dived with them recently and spoke very very highly of them.

Oh, and there is an even better bit. Costs worked out considerably less than what the English based operations are charging.

Hi there,
Tekstreme at Emperor Divers offers full CCR support to all it's guests, whether on safari or daily.
Let me know what dates etc you have once you know, and email or PM me for more details.
Cheers!
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply. I'm only just finished my MOD1, and from what I saw of the Safaris on the site it seems to be catering for MOD2-3 divers. Hopefully I'm wrong, tell me if I am. I'm looking to head over March - April 2008, so a bit of time to get it sorted yet .
