once in a life time

Hi all,
I am trying to find out some of the best,no no no the best places in the world I can take my wife for the holiday of her life she loves diving as do I and love just steady away, lots of colour and plenty to look at type dives, nothing techy we anit that good. Any sugestion? the sort of place dreams are made of!
Some where we can shore dives, night dives and boat dives (she loves sea horses and pritty girly type things) with the magic of romance and sun sets to relax on a night time.
Peace and tranquility would also be nice, is there such a place?
I really want to make this special for her so as hassle free as possible.
It is her big birthday treat for a big birthday!
Its not till next year but i want to make sure it is all perfect.
Come on one and all help me make this a very special trip she will never forget.
She is a very special lady to me.
Pete

P.s sick bags are availible for the faint hearted...

Not been there myself but plenty of people have said the Maldives is the land of romance it sounds you're after. Plenty of pretty reefs and stuff to sea too, I believe?

I'm sure there will be plenty of people along with more accurate info soon!

Swanage is nice too

If you want lots of unlimited shore diving how about the Dutch Caribbean? Bonaire has seahorses, warm water, it is outside the hurricane belt and it is safe for tourists.

The Maldives sound perfect too, I would love to go there for a bit of romance and diving - in no particular order!!

Manado, Indonesia, loads of different sea horses from 3" thorny ones to tiny pygmy ones. If you stay at Tasik Ria they have a lovely restaurant where you can eat will watching the sunset.

We have been twice with Explorers, they have a very flexible package, including extra nghts in Singapore and use singapore airlines who give you extra luggage allowance for dive kit And you can fly from Manchester!! A couple of pygmy seahorses from the last time we were there, photos curtesy of hubby, wish I could take the credit but he took them!

Kirstie and Turbs have just done Sulawesi. Kirstie posted a report here. No doubt one of them will be along sometime soon to tell you all about it
