They do containers (same as those use on the Hamnavoe) but have seemed to f things up on every trip that I have run over the last two years leading to heated arguments most weekends. The lessons are these:

Book the container well in advance.
Get any agreements ON PAPER so you can wave this under their noses when you get to the terminal.
Tell them they have done containers before when they deny that they do them.
STAND YOUR GROUND!! They do do them but very reluctantly.

They do not charge for the service.

This has been an issue that has left a bad taste on a week most weeks so be warned. My advice is to take a van but there you go.

That said, in every other aspect, northlink are superb!

lol.. team Gnome are the group i just had on the boat the group Leader is Gordon who is fond of gnomes ....well actually he is obsessed with gnomes ! the rest of the group are not regulars on YD. a very nice friendly group
